02-10-2012 Gasselternijveen Princess Maxima visited the residents association Hoofdstraat-Noord in Gasselternijveen.
The association organizes various social activities around an historic row of pear trees.
Since 1990 (old) pear trees were maintained by the neighborhood and act as a binding social events where residents picking and harvast the pears together.
